Hot Tub Automated Cover

A wooden panelled hot tub cover to keep out the British weather and to impress friends and guests with the ability to open and close the hot tub covers at the touch of a button.
The hot tub cover is designed to form part of the existing decking, saving space and allowing full use of the decking when the hot tub is not in use.
The basic design of the hot tub application consists of six wooden panels supported by a metal frame. The cover is operated automatically at the touch of a button. The first set of panels on either side of the hot tub will lift up. The two halves will then be drawn back using pneumatic fittings.
The panels of the hot tub fold out to form a comfortable seating area at the edge of the hot tub.
Maintenance of the hot tub application is easy as the first set of panels on either side lift out to expose the sides of the hot tub.
More Control supplied the framework, fixtures and fittings to enable the remote control cover to work. The actual hot tub and the wood used were supplied by the customer and a normal 240v power supply was fitted to the hot tub.
The hot tub cover was designed to fit hot tubs of up to 2 meters² and 1 meter high.
